Chris looks over the Summit Lake Bowl- Mount Spalding in the background
The beginning was thin- the Mount Evans Highway snakes by below
Corn flying everywhere!- some setup shots were taken
It was pretty cruisey at the bottom
The line looks thin but was just enough- count it!

A few days after Snowmass, Dav called and we were off to Evans. Another repeat, yes, but somehow I always have fun. It's all about getting out and up somewhere, with friends, it never gets old. Like my solo day here in 2005 we skied the Northeast ridge but unlike last year, we drove to the summit, skied, and then hiked back up.

Spring '06 was winding down— Chris had hit nearly all of the skiable lines on the 14ers and as we drove home we discussed what we might still be able to get before summer. He wanted Holy Cross, I wanted South Maroon.

Davs' report on the day here.
